Description: OLD TOWN. One of Victoria's best shopping spots has a history of its own. Built during the late 19th century, this three level building was where sailors, lumberjacks and whalers went looking for fun on their days off. Now you will find more than 45 shops specializing in everything from exotic teas, to camping goods, to souvenir t-shirts. The non-shoppers in your group will be happy to participate in Market Square's frequent live festivals, held in the central courtyard.

Victoria Eaton Centre - Between Government and Douglas Sts. off, Victoria  V8W 3M9 • 250-389-2228 Description: This modern shopping mall has been built to mimic Victoria's other historic buildings. The shops and boutiques are spread over three floors, and a central fountain inside a glass atrium makes a nice resting place when your feet can't take any more walking.

Description: Every city needs a top-shelf men's store, and this is Victoria's. Brands stocked include Calvin Klein, Armani and Hugo Boss, and there is a wonderful selection of Bally shoes, ties and leather jackets. The store itself won a national design award thanks to the leather floor tiles and handcrafted light fixtures.

Description: Rogers is sweet in more ways than one. The beautiful store is outfitted with Tiffany glass and old-fashioned counters, just like when Charles Rogers first opened his doors in 1900.
