There is no way I will be able to explain how much I love this place. I can
honestly say that I have never stayed any place I have loved as much as this.
Where do I start?
My husband and I spent four nights here (actually we had only reserved three
nights, but I couldn't stand to leave so soon. We were very lucky to be able to
book a fourth night in our Persia room). Every morning we were served an amazing
four-course vegan breakfast. (Something different and equally amazing every
day!) I am a vegan, and the fact that they are happy to accommodate special
diets was the first thing that drew me to this place. I actually did a Google
search for "vegan bed and breakfast Victoria B.C." and that was how I discovered
this gem.

Danuisa and Wanja were so wonderful and friendly. One or both of them greeted us
every morning with a smile. I don't know how they did everything they did. I
swear they were like ninjas...while we ate breakfast our bed was always made,
trash was emptied, and everything was tidied. When we left in the evenings, even
if for just 20 minutes, we'd come back to a turned-down bed with chocolates and
a light on in our room. This was impressive to me!
I loved the complimentary Amarone della Valpolicella in the library. Speaking of
the library, wow! What a fun place to hang out! I can't think of one negative
thing to say about this place. Perhaps that's why I was also unable to find
anything less than a five-star review of it while doing my research beforehand.
"Exquisite" really is the best word to describe this place.

Thank you Danuisa and Wanja for such an enjoyable and memorable stay! I have
already told my parents that they have to come here, my Facebook friends that
this was my favorite trip I've ever taken, and will continue to highly recommend
Villa Marco Polo every chance I get! I can't wait to go back!

It's our 3rd visit in Victoria, I must say it was the best! First, the first
time that I had a sleeping time for 12 hours in 3 years I guess. The place is so
relaxing and peaceful. We just stayed for an overnight but seems like we had a 3
days stay as far as positivity is concern. The breakfast is so amazing, I love
the muffin so much and my boyfriend loves the egg with veggies, the smoothies
are the best. We had so much for breakfast as I think it's a 4 course meal. we
actually thought that after the appetizer and the muffin with the tea and
smoothies breakfast is done, we are already heading back to our room to get our
things because we are also about to check out when, Danusia told us that there
are still some more food to eat. We are so surprised. Opppsss, before I forgot
when we get back to the villa after our dinner, so amazed as they have turn down
service, so lovely as the bed is already prepared for sleeping with some
chocolates to enjoy. I can not consider the Villa is just B&B's, it's above
standard of being one. Especially the staff. Because at the end of the day what
important is how the staff treated the guest and it is really FANTASTIC. Thank
you so much We will definitely go back to the Villa, that's for sure. |
