"What Guests are saying about Accent Inn Victoria "

Stayed April 27,28th. Great that it is pet friendly, we're new to travelling
with a dog and not sure if $20/night surcharge is high or not (I thought a bit
high). We were given a little towel to wipe feet, doggie bags and a treat for
our dog at check-in. Room was $79 (group rate) + $20/night for 2 queen beds.
Location is very close to malls, restaurants, stores and really only a few
minutes from downtown. Would have been nice to have a pool/hot tub. My main
complaint is that our room upon check-in and throughout or stay had a real
strong wet dog smell. I thought this might be typical for a pet designated room
but friends in another room (had 2 dogs) said they didn't have any strong pet
smell. They also mentioned one can ask for the room to be sprayed with a
commercial odour killer but I found out about that after our stay. It really
wasn't great, we have a medium sized true non-shedding dog and are not used to
that smell.
Just 1 block up Cloverdale is a large park area with tennis court and play
structure (swings too?). Great for running the dog and kids! Everything else
about the room was OK, it was abit dated but fine otherwise.

I very much enjoyed my stay & will most definitely be coming back to have a
great day with the friendly services, great foods, clean rooms & great house
keeping. I very much appreciated the neatness & how friendly the staff was, very
helpful when we needed to get some where or find something we were shopping for.
Thank you guys so much.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet. The
location was convenient to just about anywhere you would want to go. I even took
a bus to and from Butchart Gardens. Malcolm and all of the other staff were
absolutely great and a wealth of knowledge and information about Victoria. If
they did not definitively know something asked, they went out of their way to
find out the information needed. I so appreciated that and was happy to have
chosen the Accent Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Accent Inn Victoria for one night on April 28,
2012.
It had been 20 years since I was last in Victoria, so I sought out a hotel in
Victoria (on Trip Advisor) that was somewhat equidistant between the airport and
the inner harbor. The hotel's location absolutely satisfied this search
parameter. Fantastic location to get around Victoria from.
There is a strip mall right across the street from the hotel which has a couple
restaurants, one of which being a very good Red Robin (the Banzai Burger with
the garden patty is awesome).
There is a restaurant attached to the Accent Inn, namely ABC Country Restaurant.
I was hesitant to go due to some bad reviews on Trip Advisor. I ultimately
didn't go, even with the Trip Advisor free hot breakfast coupon, so I can't give
a review on the restaurant. Nothing I saw enticed me to go in.
So, let's get to why I didn't want to hang out at the Accent Inn for longer than
I needed to. |
