We booked here because a friend told us it was a good deal but were a little
unsure as it seemed cheap for a nice Hotel in Victoria and realy cheap for a
Harbour View. Well it exceeded all our expectations and is a great place to stay
and be. It is in the middle of everything and comes with free parking and Wi Fi
included. We had a king size bed could throw a rock and hit the harbour water
and the room even had extras we did not order or need such as a fridge and
microwave. Room was clean and Hotel was very nice and the staff went out of the
way to deal with everything if you needed it. Now there are two small things if
you are very picky. The room was warm during the day as although the Hotel has
A/C the room does not. We stayed in early May so not a real big deal but it
might be in July. There is also a bar in the front of the Hotel so if you have a
Harbour View room it is a little loud until late in the evening. That is not a
complaint just a note of what to expect. The windows open and there is a fan and
I am on a holiday so can stay up late. Great place to stay and very very good
value.
Review of the Days Inn on the Harbour Victoria

Having looked around quite a bit at hotels in the inner harbour area of
Victoria, the Days Inn seems to by far the best balance between price and
quality. The location is hard to beat, just around the corner from the Empress.
The room was good sized and clean. Hotel has a busy restaurant/lounge in it
along with a pool which I didn't have a chance to use. There are nicer places
around if you want to spend the money, but for value this is the place.

We chose to stay at the Days Inn because of it's fabulous location and
reasonable price - and because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were
particularly impressed that the hotel manager replied to each comment on
TripAdvisor personally - good or bad. A definite plus in customer service for
us!
The hotel has a great location, right downtown on the Inner Harbour. A short
walk to shopping, great restaurants and sight-seeing. Our room was a tad on the
small side, but we were not concerned. Bed was comfortable, wifi was free,
parking was free, room was equipped with everything we needed, including a view
of the harbour!
Front desk staff person was courteous and price was definitely great! We would
not hesitate to return to Days Inn on the Harbour!

This hotel is just average, but some rooms do have a great views of the harbour.
Did not like the step into the bathroom, if you are a senior it could be
dangerous. Clean enough, and not bad for value as the location is very good. The
staff were friendly, and the restaurant has good deals
even two for one lunches & dinners.

Quiet, relaxed vacation on the harbour. Had never been to this part of the city
before and
thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed long walks on the "Harbour Boardwalk."
Took a
Harbour tour and felt blessed to spend our time in suhc a pretty area.

If you want to see Victoria by foot which is the only way the Days Inn is your
best location in town. Located across from the Coho Ferry Terminal this hotel
gives you great value for your dollar. The hotel also has a great restaurant and
pub that boasts huge windows and in the summer a great outdoor patio. The rooms
are on the small side but very clean and well appointed. We were given a
Harborview room and it was awesome. Everyone we spoke to that worked at the
hotel was friendly and knowledgeable. With free parking and free breakfast we
found this a very nice addition. We have stayed at many locations in this city
and will

We spent last night( April 7th/12) in this Hotel...from beginning to end it was
a very enjoyable time. We booked over the phone and spoke with Omar whom we meet
at reception, very friendly, dedicated to looking after his guests needs in
every way, exceptionally good at his job. We spent some time in the Swiftsure
lounge Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a live band that was performing. Our room
was perfect in every way, beautiful view of the harbour, clean, nicely appointed
+ noise free. We had breakfast in the dining room which was handled very
efficiently by the staff....very good stay.

Loved the location, good value, great view, well equipped room. Unfortunately I
was greeted by an officious staff member at reception who was in the midst of
training another staff member. I arrived early (and was actually trying to
ascertain if a lost bag had been delivered by the airline). I was lectured on
the check in time. Not the welcome one hopes for. I would recommend staying here
but suggest you don't try to approach the desk too early ;-)
