This is our second stay at the Marriott Hotel Victoria and we are so impressed
with every employee we have met. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.
Nicely decorated rooms, great views, well run concierge lounge...can't ask for
much more. Definitely our first choice in Victoria.

I stayed here for three nights while attending a conference at the nearby
Victoria Conference Centre. I have absolutely no complaints about this property.
From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly and efficient.
The location is excellent, only steps from the harbour, the conference centre
(which is attached to the landmark Fairmont Empress) and the downtown shopping
area.
Don't expect the sort of big behemoth Marriott that you'll find in most major
cities' downtown core, though. This is a smaller, more intimate property. We
found the hotel fairly easily, very reasonable rate found on
allure-hotels.com
I didn't eat at the Marriott Hotel Victoria restaurant, but ordered room service
on the last night. The food was excellent and I was disappointed that I hadn't
taken advantage of it for any of my other meals.
At the time I was there, the pool was being renovated, but they provided
vouchers to use another pool in the area. The exercise room was small, but had
several cardio machines equipped with personal TVs (bring your own earphones)
and a decent selection of dumbbells.
The room was pretty much standard fare for a Marriott property. I didn't really
notice anything out of the ordinary worth commenting on. The room I was in
didn't feel new, but it didn't feel uncomfortably old either.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a room in downtown
Victoria.

If you are visiting Victoria, I highly recommend the Marriott Hotel Victoria.
The Hotel Staff (and I mean EVERYONE) is extremely helpful and courteous. The
rooms have floor to ceiling windows and we were fortunate enough to stay at a
higher floor with a great view of the harbor.
The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the city. It is in walking
distance from the Harbor, Restaurants, Shops and Museums.
We will defiantly stay here again on our next visit.

The staff here is the best I have encountered anywhere and I travel 300 - 330
days a year.
The Marriott Hotel Victoria is located in a good place and is very clean and
very comfortable; it was a great stay on a working trip. And I really can't say
enough about how good the staff is, very friendly, and very, very efficient and
quick.

I stay here on business but the hotel is in an excellent location for those who
will be visiting Victoria on pleasure. The hotel is clean and up to the Marriott
standards. There are great running paths a short distance away. The hotel has
onsite underground parking. The best part of a stay here is the staff. The staff
is friendly and will go out of their way to help. On my latest trip I can single
out Alex for her assistance and her daily friendly greeting. She always had time
to chat and always asked how my work went. |
