best rate.
The attached restaurant serves great meals and bar is a
great place to relax in. It is a great vintage motel.

The room at the Pauls Motor Inn Victoria was fairly
basic but clean and comfortable. However, at 2 a.m.
there was an awful caterwauling of an apparently drunken
woman yelling obscenities for about 10 minutes - more
than enough to disturb sleep of all around. Then there
were ppl responding to said drunken woman talking
outside hotel rooms and still disturbing sleep. It was
NOT a good night.

Paul's is very handy to downtown/China Town and to all
the out of town places we wanted to go to (Cathedral
Grove, French Beach) - right on the TransCanada Hwy. The
restaurant downstairs was fantastic and opened earlier
so we ate there almost every day.
Not fancy but clean and comfortable and everything we
needed!!

We've stayed at several Victoria hotels over the past
few years, and are often looking for something in the
'budget' range, as we come to Vic. fairly often to visit
children/grandchildren. We have found this to be one of
the best so far and were very impressed with the
quietness - even though we were very near the lobby; the
bathroom was CLEAN, a rarity it seems; and the room was
very spacious and well furnished.

We were in Victoria on a long weekend with a small child
and the front desk staff was kind enough to select a
room for us far from the rowdy young people, and despite
it being a big party weekend it sure was quiet. My only
complaint was the comfort of the mattress, I could feel
every single spring in it. I definitely got more than my
moneys worth from this hotel stay. |
