Our family enjoyed our weekend at the Queen Victoria Hotel. It is close to the
center of Inner Harbor, behind the Empress and next door to the Royal BC Museum.
Quiet, yet just blocks from everything! The pool, Jacuzzi and sauna area has
been refurbished and is beautiful! The rooms are pleasant and well maintained.
We did not use the kitchenette, but plan to on our next trip. Parking is free as
well as wi-fi, both are much appreciated. We found the hotel fairly easily, very
reasonable rate found on
allure-hotels.com .This is a great place to stay, and reasonably
priced as well. We will definitely be back!

I thought for the price and location of the Queen Victoria Hotel it was a good
deal. The room is simple and clean. The TV remote did not work so the
maintenance person dealt with it promptly but I would say his demeanor was not
great for a hospitality situation. He complained about the types of TV's instead
of apologizing for the inconvenience. The manager (Ron I think) was excellent
and the front desk, waitress were very efficient and pleasant. We bought the
Royal Package which includes a fabulous breakfast and dinner. Our dinner was
great but then we found the salmon was underdone and Ron went above and beyond
to make us happy. He is in the right business! I would definitely return and was
sad to hear that it is closing in September as a hotel.

Queen Victoria Royal Package $159.00 includes 1 night Standard Room (clean &
updated), Dinner for 2 at Samuels Restaurant (located inside the hotel and
offers excellent food), Breakfast for 2 at Samuels Restaurant (wonderful menu,
especially enjoyed the eggs benedict), Choice of Attraction (we chose tickets to
iMAX). Not to mention a beautifully renovated Indoor Pool & Hot Tub. If this
sounds too good to be true, perhaps it is, as the hotel has been sold but you
still have until September 30th, 2012 to take advantage of this deal!

We had a medical appointment in Victoria and were extremely pleased to have the
accommodation which we had at the rate it was. The hotel is quiet, very clean
and conveniently located. Parking is a deal at only $4/night. We have stayed at
this hotel several times now and have never been disappointed. Would definitely
stay again! I was able to find much cheaper prices on
allure-hotels.com than on the
hotel's own website.

Will be our hotel of choice for all future visits to Victoria. It is very
conveniently situated next to the harbour. The one bedroom suites are ample for
a family of four and one can have a kitchen added at little extra cost.
It's perfect for every kind of traveler. The swimming pool is nice, service is
excellent and the view is spectacular. |
