We had a wonderful stay at The Admiral's Inn. The location was perfect to see the sights but also for travel on The Victoria Clipper to Seattle. The staff was wonderful. They went out of the way to make you fell at home. They offered great advice, looked up info and made calls if needed. Breakfast and accommodations were simple but sufficient. We were there in April. it must be even better later in the summer. This was a great place to stay and I would return if we ever go back to Victoria.

This hotel is a great one in the City! It is within walking distance to the centre of the great city of Victoria, where you can have great Whale Watching tours and city tours. The rooms are nice and clean with separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast could be better but it is enough for me! There is not a lot in it. All i can say about this: A great place to stay in this great city!

I like the stuff of Admiral Inn who are very friendly and considerate. Feel very warmly welcomed. I also like the continental breakfast. Very concise and sufficient. Oh, I also love the kitchen in my room. We cook dinner like we are at home. It is so much close to Royal BC museum and Parliament House which are in 3 minutes walking distance. Moving along toward another opposite direction, in one minute on foot, we hit the beach and wharf. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable walk along the pier. Wonderful hotel! I bet I always go back whenever I visit Victoria.

Not our first visit. We like the fact that the parking lot is easily accessible for our large vehicle and there is no parking fee. A bonus compared to other hotels in the area. Our room had a lovely view of the water and the city, particularly pretty as it was Christmas. The continental breakfast is very simple but adequate if you want to get an early start on shopping. The staff were very obliging.
Each room opens up to the outside so the connecting walk ways are wet in rainy weather. You have to put on outdoor clothing if you wish to go to the office.

We stayed at the Admiral for 3 nights in the fall and we were completely satisfied. We didn't do any cooking other than lunch because we enjoyed all the great restaurants nearby. We had a suite at the front, so sitting out with our morning coffee and evening glass of wine was most enjoyable. We found it a bit older but clean and well cared for, staff were friendly and helpful, and it is within walking distances of many attractions and the harbor. We felt it was really good value for our dollar.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the place clean, fabulous location, couldn't ask for a better place to stay with a dog...so many nearby places to walk and run your dog. Plus everything is within walking distance - the Clipper, the Coho, Fisherman's Wharf, restaurants galore, and the harbour.
Fantastic - will definitely stay there again and recommend it to family & friends.

Room Tip: Family suite's have a full kitchen & a bedroom - feels like home. Perfect for a long stay.

We have spent Christmas in Victoria at the Admiral Inn for many years. This year we decided to 'save a few bucks' and choose another accommodation over this hotel. We are sad that we did. The service and friendly smiles at the Admiral are well worth the stay. We always enjoy the easy access to all our favorite sights. The fact that we can bring our pet makes our vacation even better. The space in the rooms at this hotel are very superior to others in the city for the price. This hotel advertises it's family of guests that repeatedly stay here, and this is true. When we stay for a week, we are always greeted around the hotel with a smile, and Hello from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping staff. By the way these people are there for many years, which must mean that it is a good place to work too! Thanks, and we'll be back!

This is an excellent hotel close to Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbour. Even though it is not modern architecture, it has a home like feel and great character. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It is pet friendly. The breakfast provided is very adequate. Rumor has it that this lovely Inn will be torn down and replaced by a more modern structure. If this happens we will be very disappointed as it is our favorite place to stay in Victoria

We have stayed at Admiral Inn many times. We like the helpful staff, the proximity to our daughter's house, the kitchenette and separate bedroom. Most of all though, we appreciate the fact the Admiral Inn is a pet friendly hotel. We are also very happy to hear that Admiral Inn will not be disappearing in the near future!
