our group rented two rooms and had some glassware special requests that were
met, which was great. The rooms are spacious with nice bedding. Everything was
spotless except for the patio door glass, but we were able to wipe all the hand
and nose prints off it. My only quibble would be with the night manager. When
returning to the hotel around midnight and waiting for the elevator, he demanded
to know who we were and what room we were in. He was very loud and threatening.
We were mostly woman in our late 30's, early 40's and dressed nicely. We were
quiet when entering the building. He said he needed to talk to the credit card
holder (which was me). When told it was me he just grunted and said "well keep
it down". geesh! How embarrassing! We are not children! I've never ever been
spoken to like that in any hotel I've stayed in. He needs to take a "super host"
class.

The location is awesome , right downtown restaurants, bars and shopping all
within short walking distance very nice view from the rooms , comfortable bed.
Lobby needs an update.

My wife and I stayed here several years ago and enjoyed it then. Meanwhile the
hotel has been updated and is even nicer than before. Spacious, comfortable room
with room-darkening curtains, nice beddings and fairly quiet all helped provide
a pleasant stay and a good sleep. This hotel also has many floors so getting a
room with a view or up higher for more quietness is a bonus. The location is
very good for those wanting to be within a short walk of the convention centre,
the Inner Harbour, Legislative building and various other tourist areas and
shops. We have stayed in fancier hotels but also paid a lot more money for
those. Based on the price we paid, overall we felt we got good value for our one
night stay and would not hesitate to return another time.

Great Hotel Excellent view great service Rogers chocolate delivered at night to
our room.
Walking distance to the Inner Harbor.
Great Price Excellent Old English Pub. Close to car rentals

Stayed here with my family over the summer and had a one bedroom suite. Upon
arrival while waiting to check in, I noticed that one of the clients must have
had some sort of billing issue and was discussing it with the front desk. It
took quite awhile and people were starting to line up behind me but the
associate remained patient and professional and I could hear that she offered to
not charge the client for this room, to which he was surprised and was very
thankful for their gesture. Definitely a good sign for our stay! Soon another
associate arrived to help with the check-ins and we were on our way to our room.
The room was quite spacious, in good condition and was clean. All appeared to be
in good order and everything in the kitchen (full kitchen which was a bonus) as
well as the bathroom were working properly. The staff that we encountered
throughout our stay were friendly and polite. We like the fact that the hotel is
close to the water and within walking distance to many attractions. The only
slight negative was the sofabed was quite soft and creaky and I left with a bit
of a sore back after sleeping on it for 2 nights, but otherwise it was a very
pleasant stay for our family (including 2 toddlers) and we would certainly stay
here again. Overall a very good value for our trip.
