Hotel Review of the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort Victoria

Really enjoyed our stay here from Feb.9-14 2012. The
staff are very friendly and very helpful, location is as
good as it gets. There is a lot of construction
renovations going on, but certainly didn't hamper
anything with our stay. Lounge is excellent, views of
harbour are to die for. Have nothing bad to say about
it. Concierge excellent!! Definitely would return again.

I thought that due to the ongoing extensive renovations
that stays in this hotel could be discounted a
little......if they are, there was no indication of
such. The rooms are clean and large but I can see where
they need upgrading. The staff were friendly and
efficient. Looking forward to seeing the new digs when
they are done.

This was another beautiful hotel we stayed in on our
trip in Canada. This was really lovely. It was situated
right on the bay. You could take a taxi boat from the
Hotel across to the other
side of the Bay. Wonderful. The hotel itself was very
comfortable, bed was lovely and big. The restaurant was
lovely and so were the meals in the bar. There was a gym
and swimming pool
in the hotel. The pool was lovely. We would recommend
staying in this Hotel if staying
on Vancouver Island. It also had a treatment rooms. The
massages are lovely

My family and I stayed here for three nights after
Christmas. Our room was very nice and we had an
absolutely beautiful view of the harbour. There is a
lovely walking trail in front of the hotel and along the
harbour. We found the staff very helpful/courteous and
enjoyed the hotel amenities such as the fitness room,
squash court and pool/hot tub. The breakfasts and
evening appetizers were very good. I really enjoyed the
atmosphere of the lobby with its cozy chairs around the
two fireplaces and massive glass windows looking out
towards the harbour. We will definitely stay here again
and will recommend it to others.

As they are currently working on upgrades it is hard to
give a full review, however, what we had for a room and
a view was outstanding. Happy with the service and staff
is friendly. Room was nice but you can see why they are
updating. I take it by the amount of dogs in the
building that it is a pet friendly hotel. Overall we had
a great time. Family enjoyed the amenities including
pool and hot tub. |
