we only stayed one night so perhaps not easy to assess the place properly.
Restaurant was excellent, rooms very good and view good. Staff levels seemed
low, no help with luggage to the room.

I booked a one bedroom ocean view as a surprise for my husband over
Christmas, 2011 and wasn't disappointed! The room was gorgeous - we stayed
in #311 - which I was told was their best suite and it is!!! Floor to
ceiling windows, hot tub on the patio, fireplace, a sunken soaker tub and
shutters which open between the bedroom and bathroom add to the romance. The
food was divine! We can't say enough. Everyone ensured our every need was
met ~ the service was impeccable! Since coming back, I've shared a link to
this hidden gem with family, friends and co-workers so they too can enjoy
the luxury of this resort.

What a beautiful place, with the most amazing, caring, helpful staff. After
a stressful work week me & my hubby spent a night at this amazing Resort, we
ate fresh sushi from the pub, that was so delicious. The service was so
great so professional in every aspect of a 5 star resort. The peaceful night
relaxing in the hot tub on the deck with a glass of champagne g made us feel
like we were in our own world. This is a must stay resort if you have not
yet taken the opportunity to experience spoiling yourselves this is the time
to do it. We will be back.

Stayed here for both a corporate function and a personal event (birthday)
four days later. This place is stunning, relaxing, and the rooms and the
food are superb. You really feel spoiled here and the staff are super
friendly. The spa was incredible - very professional staff and the
treatments were worth every penny. Hot tub and pool are heated! Nice to have
everything in one location: excellent food, spa, pub, heavenly rooms. As a
place for a corporate event, BB was super accommodating to our group and
again the food was fantastic. I cannot wait to go back!
Not a place I'd bring the kids (I have three of them under 9 and wouldn't go
here with them). This is your "need to get away for some me/us time" place!

We stayed here on our way back from Tofino to Seattle in Sep 2011. The hotel
room we had, Deluxe Ocean Suite, was beautifully appointed. The view of the
bay from the balcony is beautiful. We ate at the onsite pub and were pleased
with the service and quality.

We stayed at the Brentwood Bay Resort last winter and we hope to go back
again this year! It was a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of
the city (Vancouver). We were somewhat surprised by the location of the
resort basically at the end of a residential street, but it didn't matter as
the resort itself is right on the water, and is so beautiful. We spent most
of our time hanging out at the resort and walking along the water. We loved
the size and comfort of the room, and all the extras- cookies upon arrival,
the luxurious shower, heated bathroom floors, really nice toiletries. We ate
in the restaurant (delicious), ordered room-service (also delicious!), and
had massages at the spa (lovely). We brought a car, so heading to Butchart
Gardens, or into downtown Victoria was really convenient. I suppose our only
recommendation would be to have some kind of winter activity available. We
saw the kayak rental kiosk at the end of the dock next to the resort and
thought that would be fun, but it isn't open in the winter. Overall,
two-thumbs up! As I said, we're hoping to go back soon! |
