We spent 4 nights here during late March/early April and had a wonderful stay with our 2 children. It was off season so the rate was very good for this quality and service level of hotel. The hotel is in a very nice location and there's nice trails for jogging or walking just outside. It's located across the harbour from all the attractions, restaurants and shops but it's an easy walk across the bridge to get to them.

We had one of their basic rooms with 2 queen beds, no special view or anything but it served it's purpose for us. The room was spacious, clean and the bedding was very good. We had room service one of the evenings and the food was good.

The staff was wonderful, to say the least. The front desk agent upgraded our room to a Signature room, which gave us continental breakfast and hors doevres each evening and access to drinks during the day. Saved us some extra $$. The concierges were extremely helpful when planning outings. The location was amazing. Just a 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants and shopping we wanted. Definitely go for a Harbor view and signature room. The pool, hot tub and fitness center were great for relaxation too. Would absolutely stay here again. Only wish the rooms had Jacuzzi tubs so I could take a relaxing bath. Our room also had a kitchenette. We didn't cook, but used the fridge for drinks. Room was spacious with huge windows. The curtains block all the light out in the morning. Gorgeous view.

Stayed for 3 nights in a fairly spacious 300 square foot Harbour View room with 2 queen beds. Friendly staff and the property is well maintained considering it is 16 years old, thought it was about 5 to 10 years old. 3 elevators for 8 floors so not much waiting around for an elevator. The hotel is located a short walk across the Johnson Street brige to downtown Victoria, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the Downtown area.
There is a nice walkway along the Harbour front that is very quiet as this is on the edge of a residential condo area. There is plenty to see happening in the Harbour including seaplanes, views of the Parliment Buildings and Empress Hotel. There is a nice lounge and they have great martinis. The restaurant is nice but expensive.
Overall enjoyed the Hotel and the grandchildren loved the pool. This is very much a family hotel with lots of kids running up and down the hallways and in the pool most of the time. The pool and spa is open 24 hours. The spa/hot tub did not appear to be kept up very well as it had way too much foam floating on the top of it when the jets were not turned on. This is a great place to stay if you have rug rats but if you want a more up-scale quiet adult place look elsewhere. I would stay there again but only for the pool and our grandchildren otherwise I might look at the Empress depending on what your budget is.

I’d love to stay at this hotel again!
This was a lovely place to stay. What a great view of the harbour and parliament building at night. Close to lots of evening activities. The room I booked was smoking. When we arrived we were informed that the whole hotel was non-smoking. This information needs to be provided at the time of booking.

I stayed in a harbour view view - a little pricey but worth it. Large spacious room, and very quiet, Vey nice harbour walk way in front of hotel and an easy 10 minute walk across the bridge to downtown victoria with plenty of nearby restaurants. Given the price paid, expected a little more maintenance -- bathroom wallpaper was peeling and shower head came off in my hand when i tried to adjust water spray. otherwise nice place

Located on the harbour across the bridge from Chinatown, is Delta Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa. I’ve stayed there every few years since its original construction, before Delta purchased it. Its moderately price, moderate luxury. The Spa at OPR stays quite busy with the locals. It is at the hotel, but if you expect Spa services then make reservations before you arrive. The restaurant seems to be going the way of the Spa. Darn it. It used to be a nice restaurant, but now tries to carve an elite niche of this market.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at the Delta in Victoria and we thought it was a great hotel. We got a great deal on a partial view of the Harbour room.

The room was on the 7th floor and it had a decent view of the water. We could see float planes landing in the water, the noise did not bother us as it wasn't too loud. The room was surprisingly spacious! The bathroom had large counter space which is something that I loved as it let me spread out. The king-sized bed was nice and firm. Free internet was a plus.

The little things that impressed me were the bathrobes, complimentary newspapers every morning and the umbrella. The free shuttle bus was amazing as well! (Although we usually walked downtown it took about 5 minutes.

My boyfriend and I love cheese so we gave the Cheese platter a go and we were not disappointed. The view from the Lobby/bar was amazing as you could see the parliament building lit up beautifully!

The pool was only good for a bit of a splash as it was fairly small but we enjoyed it. The hot tub was nice as well.

Finally the staff was very nice. The concierge helped us book a car rental with ease.
Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

I travel to Victoria every few weeks for business and I have stayed in 7-8 hotels in Victoria. The Delta is easily my favourite hotel on the island.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and the restaurant is superb. Also, the gym is large and has all the usual machines + free weights, but it also has push-up bars, ab rollers, balance boards, medicine balls, jump ropes etc. and it is open 24/hours a day.

We signed up for the free Delta privilege program and enjoyed the benefits including free local phone calls. They gave us a complimentary upgrade upon checking in and we had a fabulous view of the harbor. The fitness room was good and the pool/hot tub were great. Food was good in the hotel lounge. The only disappointment was they couldn't seat us in the dining room because of a private party and the lounge was very drafty (cold).

Stayed here for 1 night last month in a 2 queen bed room including breakfast for $254cdn. Hotel is easy to find and I think in the best location overlooking the beautiful harbour. Much more scenic then being on the other side. Lobby has a nice view and check in was friendly, fast and informative. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable although the decor was a bit old fashioned for 2008 it wasn't a big deal. Soft fluffy towels and robe were provided. I like firm beds and this was great bathroom and amenities are in keeping to this standard of hotel - no complaints. We could order anything we liked from the restaurant for breakfast and had a great meal at Spinakers just a short walk along the water. Great place and would stay again.
