We've stayed at Victoria's Blue Ridge Inn many times and our recent stay
did not disappoint. Our room was clean and comfortable and it included a
little fridge and a microwave. The hotel has now upgraded to free
wireless internet and we appreciated that. Although we didn't use it
this visit, there is an indoor heated pool as well. The location is
terrific - right across the street from the Mayfair Mall and just
minutes from downtown. The potential for some noise is there but our
unit was well back from Douglas Street. Best of all is the price so I
recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and
inexpensive place to stay.

Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with amenities. Decent coffee shop
next, also with friendly helpful staff although not the best coffee but
there is a Tim Hortons in the mall right across the road. Relatively
quiet and pet friendly.

The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The motel is near
a bus stop and the bus takes you straight into town. The room was good
value, with a nice bathroom, table and chairs, TV and good heating. Free
wireless and a coin laundry were a bonus.

It was quiet and with very clean rooms with a very convenient location
to find your way around Victoria and for my medical appointments. Was
easy to find restaurants for meal and shopping and easy to get back to
the motel. I have stayed at this motel for the last two years every six
months and will return again.

We stayed during Spring break. Great location just 5 minutes from
Victoria downtown and across from a Mall. Recently renovated rooms and
very quite and clean. Well worth for what you pay. Great family Inn,
would for sure stay there again.

Nice staff, but they told me they "relocated" me to a new room shortly
before arrival. I was travelling alone, so they probably gave my nicer
room to a family or couple. My room across from the office was nothing
special. Very reasonable rates, older motel with good sized rooms, staff
is very courteous and helpful. It's extremely well located and travel to
all locales in Victoria is perfect.

Loved my kids loved it we all loved it. Very cheap to stay, as we only
needed one night. The staff was helpful when we called as well as when
we checked in and out. We were surprised when we walked into the room as
the price totally tricked us on how the room would look. Very clean
surprised to see a mini fridge and microwave. The room was comfortable
and quiet as we were on the main road. We will definitely stay there
again. Very accommodating to our family as we have 3 children and they
didn't make us rent 2 rooms as other hotels were expecting us to.

Have stayed at this Inn for a couple of decades now, multi-nights at
least twice per year. Always accommodating, reasonably priced even in
the summer tourist season. Rooms clean and fresh. In the summer don't
need a/c due to the sea breezes keeping the temp down. Highly
recommended!!

The Blue Ridge Inn was the perfect spot for me while I was in town for a
weekend training session at Camosun College. Across from the Mayfair
Shopping Mall and near Denny's on Douglas Street in downtown Victoria.
It was clean, quiet, and close to restaurants and a direct route to the
college. They had an indoor pool there but I didn't use it. The bed was
super comfortable. I thought I had a top end bed at home but this was
better. Quite a surprise. There was a mini-fridge and microwave; both I
used. A coffee maker with both tea and coffee available. This is an
older motel/inn but well maintained and clean. Cleaning staff made sure
my room was immaculate and supplies topped up. The friendly note/card
from "Sandra" was a nice touch. For the money (I paid $59 per night plus
taxes) , I felt it was a great deal. No problem with parking either.
Will be back again soon. Mike Macklin, Campbell River, B.C.

This is a very comfortable hotel. It's older, but everything was clean.
The area feels safe and there is enough parking. It's only a few minutes
from downtown.

We recently stayed for three nights at the Blue Ridge Inn. Good value
for money. We had 2 couples and wanted cooking facilities. The kitchen
was quite small but had a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and 2
elements to cook on which were adequate for 3 nights. This is located
out of the main town area, but the Mayfair Shopping Centre and buses are
located across the road. There is a cafe on site which does breakfast
and lunch and a KFC and Dennys within a couple of shops. Good value for
money. Pool on site.
