Have stayed here several times because of the extremely convenient
location for downtown. The staff are always helpful and it is clean. The
rooms are comfortable but I would advise not booking one with a sofa bed
as these only have thin mattresses. The beds are comfortable, though,
and the bathrooms clean. Parking is only $4/day and any requests for
extra towels and pillows were rapidly answered. Many rooms have great
views of the Parliament buildings which are very pretty at night.

We stayed at the Executive House Hotel for a week in March 2009, and
would highly recommend it. The hotel was very busy with bus loads of
people from all over the world arriving all the time. Ours was a basic
double room with a great big bed which we were grateful for being out
all day. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. The wee kitchen
area was really handy, we went to the supermarket and bought groceries
which saved us having to go out for breakfast all the time although we
did have breakfast downstairs in the restaurant on our first morning and
it was very good. The staff were very helpful and curteous, it is also
very handy for the bus station which is across the street within walking
distance of the hotel, and also a short stroll down to the waterfront.
It is also near all the shopping area, and there are loads of places to
eat nearby or bring into the hotel. Would certainly visit this hotel
again, and would recommend it.

We stayed at the Executive House for two nights in early March and our
experience was very positive. We paid £160 for two nights but I wonder
if we were given an upgrade as we certainly did not have a standard
room. We had a hallway, bedroom, bathroom, separate sitting room and
kitchen with full size cooker, fridge freezer etc. We were on the 12th
floor with good views of the nearby construction, but as it was a
weekend building work had stopped. We found all the staff helpful and
agree with previous comments that the lifts were slow, but I wouldn't
say worryingly so. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, and this was
fine.

This hotel was difficult for us to find - it is obscured by construction
and doesn't fully face the street. All of out previous visits to
Victoria have been arrival by boat and then walking the town so the fact
that we were driving may have been part of the problem. Once found,
however, the parking was very easy and inexpensive ($4 a day charged to
the room).
The suites are roomy without being cavernous and very clean. The view
from the window is lovely at night.
The hotel is non smoking so we had to make do with the slow elevators to
go out to smoke (nothing makes an elevator wait worse than being in the
middle of a nic fit).
My cousin had made reservations online and I called to make my
reservation giving his name to make sure I had the dates right. I didn't
think to ask at the time, but the agent was proactive and assigned us
rooms next to each other even though we checked in and reserved
separately.
We sampled the free apps in the bar for happy hour - nice little
"regroup" time. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food and
service were good.
The walls are a little thin between the rooms - not terrible, but the
bedrooms and bathroom abut each other so I could hear when my cousin's
kids were awake for example.
All in all a pleasant and homey stay.

Hubby and i stayed here for two nights in august and thought the place
was quite acceptable. Victoria is a great place and this hotel is in a
super location just one block from the harbour. staff are friendly and
helpful and check in and out was easy and fast. yes the elevators can be
a bit slow but we were on holiday so 'whats the hurry'. room was clean
and well appointed, our only gripe here was we didn't have an A/C,
however two fans were provided and these were all we really needed
anyway as the weather wasn't hot. there is a bit of construction going
on around the area but nothing that bothered us, would definitely go
back and we're happy to recommend this hotel to others.

When I contacted the property to book 3 rooms for my families two night
stay in Victoria, they were a pleasure to deal with.
The atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and the rooms were spacious and
had a lovely outlook over the park. We were very impressed with the
service and the care that they took when checking us in and helped us
with all of our enquiries.
It was a shame about the construction across the road with all the noise
but we were too busy enjoying Victoria to really notice.
Would definitely stay there again!

This hotel turned out to be much better than I was expecting. We booked
through the Victoria Clipper package, and were originally scheduled to
stay at a smaller, more quaint inn. However, due to a reservation
problem(?) we were booked at the Executive House instead. The location
is wonderful, although there is construction going on right across the
street. I did not find this bothersome at all, as we were out enjoying
the city all day. There was no early morning or late evening noise at
all. The lobby was small, clean, and comfortable. The service was prompt
and friendly (although the concierge was "new to the city" too!). Our
room was a suite on the 6th floor. It was very clean, pleasantly
decorated, comfortable, quiet...Not sure what else I could have wanted!
I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We just got back from a wedding in Victoria, a beautiful city with many
hotel options. The wedding party booked rooms at this hotel which is the
only reason we stayed there. There is loud construction from 6:30 am
till 6pm every day except Sunday. There is no AC so the rooms got warm
in the afternoon. It would have been nice to have the a/c to block out
the noise. Service did not inform us of the ways to and from Vancouver
airport. We highly recommend the float planes, the views are terrific
and the trip is only 30 minutes vs the 3 1/2 hour trip via ferry. Also
nice but long.
