The Huntingdon Hotel Victoria has the ambience of an Old English manor house with design features include gables, landscaped gardens, and a wood-paneled lobby with grandfather clock and antique English post box. We loved the location next to the Harbour beside a park. The hotel itself has a sauna, spa tub, and fitness room, but did not get a chance to use them. The had wireless high-speed Internet access but there was a charge for it. The staff were friendly and all the amenities in the suites were up to standard, and the nice weather made for a cheery stay

The hotel was comfortable the overall stay was good. The hotel staff were pleasant and ready to help. It is very close to downtown and down the street from the ferry dock. . The hotel is well located. Worth the price paid. Good Location and within walking distance of all the tourist type attractions. Nice quiet locale at all hours of the day.

Excellent Location in Victoria, from this hotel you can walk to everything in downtown Victoria through a beautiful neighborhood. The property is just ever so slightly neglected, but the price is good and suites are available with kitchens for the economy minded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the off season, rather than pay for parking in the garage, you can easily park on the street from 5 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Monday free of charge.

This is our second stay at Huntingdon in Victoria. It is in a great location, within walking distance of the Inner Harbour, and is quiet. The hotel staff is very accommodating, polite and professional. There is only one public area, off the main lobby, and not much seating is provided. My overall impression is that the hotel is becoming somewhat shabby. I wouldn’t call it a dump, but it does need renovation. Still, we got a great deal through Allure Hotels on the room, and for a hotel on the Inner Harbour, it’s a good value from that perspective.

I stayed here for one night and had a very nice time. Due to luck and timing, I received a free upgrade to a suite in the Gatsby, their onsite B&B. They needed a room with two beds like I had reserved and I only needed one, so they offered the switch. The location is perfect, especially if you travel in on the ferry as I did with no car. It’s right in the harbour area, within minutes of many restaurants, clubs and attractions.

We spent eight days at the Huntingdon Hotel and were very impressed with the staff and service. We stayed in the Buckingham Suite and had a great view of the harbour. We also enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch at Hunters restaurant. We also had dinner at the Gatsby which was excellent.
We would recommend that people stay there as it is a perfect location in Victoria to get around to see the sights, and so close to the harbour. It is a very comfortable and homy place to stay with everything included in the room, including a full kitchen.
We definitely will go back there again.

My mother n law and I stayed their over the weekend. It was alright for the fact it was close to the ferry terminal. When we went to go see about checking in early . The front desk person told us we had to give a deposit because we were paying cash.
When I made the reservation I was not told of a Deposit. So (at the time) the front desk person told us if we pay now for our room we wouldn't have to pay a deposit. Later when we came back to get our keys and went to our room. Front Desk called and said we still need a deposit (it was their policy) for which being a front desk person myself I understood. But when your told no need for the deposit. I wanted to leave. The actual deposit was $ 200. we gave $75. They have breakfast which was nice.

We walked into the hotel and asked for best rate, for a room with a view of the harbor, a separate loft bedroom, sitting room and full kitchen. Once you overlook the hall decor, which is downright unpleasant, and room decor which is beyond bland, there's nothing to complain about and much to appreciate, even love. I'd stay there again in a wink. Location is perfect. Desk staff is outstanding. Room was comfortable and very quiet, even at the height of the tourist season. When we had a comment about housekeeping (more coffee for the coffee maker) it was addressed immediately. Staff recommended very good nearby restaurants and were interested in our feedback on them. All in all, an outstanding week's stay.

The Huntingdon hotel is situated with two historic homes in Belleville Park resort...the Gatsby Mansion Inn and the Judges house...we had friends with us and we actually stayed in all three places...
Excellent restaurants and accommodation...the historic rooms were so interesting and comfy....did miss some of the modern conveniences like a mini frig but the 4 poster bed and claw foot bath tub were great.
The location right on the Inner harbor is perfect for walking to everything including the sea wall walk and the parliament building and beautfiul historic Empress hotel.
The staff at these 3 places is above excellent, everyone was so helpful and pleasant.
