Bedford Regency Hotel Location Your journey
to Victoria, British Columbia is just the begInn ing...
There are several routes and modes of transportation to get to
Vancouver Island and Victoria, whether you are coming from coastal BC,
Washington State or beyond.
The most popular travel route is aboard the
BC Ferries, which offers spectacular scenery of the magnificent Gulf
Islands. Keep your camera out you may even see a whale. This 1 ½ hour ferry ride
connects the British Columbia Mainland to Victoria and the rest of Vancouver
Island.
Other ferry options to consider are:
Washington State ferries, from Anacortes and the
CoHo from Port Angeles. Traveling on foot? Take the
Victoria Clipper from Seattle, the
Victoria Express Cruise Ship from Port Angeles and Friday Harbour or the
Victoria/San Juan Cruise Ship from the San Juan Islands.
Want something a little faster? Why not fly harbour to harbour on a
seaplane? You won't believe the view from up there. Coming from Seattle?
Travel in style with
Helijet. For over 18 years their fleet of Helicopters and turbo aircrafts
have been flying over the natural beauty of the coasts of South Western BC's and
the Pacific Northwest. Air travelers can also fly into
Victoria International Airport, a half hour drive north of the "Garden
City". The Airporter Shuttle, services all hotels and car rentals services. As
well,
taxi's are available at the Airport.
On a budget? We recommend you consider
Pacific Coach Lines for getting from Vancouver or from Northern points of
Vancouver Island to Victoria. They offer reasonable rates and frequent service
to Victoria with several pick-up locations. The coaches from Vancouver travel
abroad on the BC ferries giving you the added pleasure of the "cruise"
experience.
